WHAT IS PAINT CORRECTION AND WHY DO WE DO IT?
Paint correction is a term used for removing imperfections, swirl marks, bird etchings and scratches out of clear coat on vehicles paint work.
This is not to be confused with waxing and polishing. Waxing and polishing will leave you with a better finish but they won’t remove any of the surface defects like swirl marks, scratches or oxidation. Regular automotive waxes can be used to cover up these imperfections, but they have no effect on the paint condition of the vehicle.
When it comes to your vehicle’s appearance and paint clarity, paint correction is a very in depth process that will provide superior results.

What's Included in Our Paint Correction Service?
Exterior
- The use of deionised 0ppm water to guarantee a spot-free finish.
- Wheels cleaned including wheel faces, and inner barrels, with iron fallout decontamination.
- Tyre walls cleaned with a dedicated tyre cleaner.
- Citrus prewash to release any stubborn road grime and traffic film.
- Snow foam pre-cleanser applied to safely loosen dirt.
- Soft detailing brushes used to agitate the commonly overlooked areas such as badges,
- emblems and petrol caps.
- Wheel arches brushed and pressure washed.
- Safe two bucket hand wash using a pH neutral shampoo and plush lambswool wash mitts.
- Two stage chemical decontamination carried out (Tar remover/Iron fallout remover).
- Mechanical decontamination (Clay bar).
- Hand dried using plush microfibre drying towels.
- Air dried using specialist blower to get in all crevasses such as grills, wing mirrors and
- around lights.
- Vinyl, rubbers and plastics dressed.
- Exhaust tips cut and polished if required.
- Glass cleaned streak free.
- Tyre dressing applied.
- A 2 stage machine polish to achieve the best possible results for your vehicle.
- Stage 1 – a cutting compound to target the deeper defects that are in the paintwork.
- Stage 2 – a refining polish to really bring out the depth of colour, gloss and clarity
- Paintwork wiped down with an IPA to remove any remaining oils to assure the best surface
- for the wax/sealant to adhere to.
- A choice of wax or sealant applied to add extra gloss and extra protection to your vehicle’s
- paintwork.
Interior
- Rubbish removed and disposed of.
- Dusting with an interior detailing brush such as vents and tight areas.
- Interior vacuum, including seats / boot.
- Mats removed and shampooed and deep cleaned.
- Dashboard and door cards and steering wheel steam cleaned for sanitisation.
- Door shuts and hinges steamed cleaned.
- Fabric seats deep cleaned, shampooed and wet vacuumed or leather seats deep cleaned and treatment applied.
- Plastics treated/coated.
